Obesity and cancer
According to the statistics of the World Health Organization,25 percent to 35 percent of the cancer cases in the world is directly associated with obesity. The greatest inducement of cancers is obesity and the lack of exercise. American Cancer Institute of follow-up study reported that obesity was the major risk factors of the colon cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, esophageal cancer, endometrial cancer and renal adenocarcinoma in the non-smoker group of adults. There were 500 thousand people dying of these cancers only in America. The research also found that the prevalence of cancers during the adulthood was directly related to weight gain. If an adult gain weight averagely over 0.5 pound every year, the possibility of suffering from cancers of them is much higher than that of ordinary people, and the highest possibility is those people who gain weight more than 22 pounds (10 kg) in the crowd in adulthood.
Obesity can induce cancers easily. On the one hand, the food they take in contain too much fat, so the conversion of fat is obstructed, resulting in the too much fat in the intestine to stimulate the bile secretion. In addition to too little dietary fibrin, the microbes in the colon increase resulting in the anaerobic Clostridium, so acid in colon and neutral steroids convert into carcinogen,futhermore lead to colon cancer; on the other hand, too much body fat influences the secretion of sex hormones. So women will easily suffer from breast cancer and cervical cancer, men will easily suffer from prostate cancer.
Obesity and cancer are formed gradually and unconsciously, but it is difficult to return to the original state once formed. Thus in order to prevent cancers, the adults should pay attention to keep weight in an ideal condition to reduce risk factors which will induce cancers.
